BRA
ZIL
Photography is how I think. Ideas start as images long before they become concepts.
Travel sharpens the way I look — slowing me down, bringing me closer to people, places, and their rhythms. I’m drawn to honest moments: light, texture, gestures, and what happens in between. It’s how I observe, remember, and make sense of the world.
Where I Keep Returning
Brazil was the reason I first came — but it’s not why I stayed connected.
I arrived in 2019 for a photography project and ended up falling in love with the country. With the people, the rhythm, the openness. After that first trip, I returned three more times — travelling across Brazil, often with friends I met there. What started as coincidence grew into a close-knit group.
Some moments feel unreal looking back. New Year’s Eve on a boat in the Amazon, surrounded by jungle, thirty-five strangers slowly becoming friends. Long days and nights moving between Bahia, São Paulo, Rio, Minas Gerais — each place carrying its own energy, its own pace.
Brazil inspires me deeply. Culturally, visually, emotionally. The colors, the music, the generosity of people, the way life unfolds in public. It’s a country that doesn’t stay at a distance — it pulls you in.
Photography followed naturally. Less as documentation, more as a way of being present inside it all.
