ABOUT ME
I'm Anouk Wirtz, creative director, art director and brand strategist based in Amsterdam.
I studied fashion at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, where I learned that design is never just aesthetic. It's a way of thinking. That hasn't left me.
Over the past 15 years I've worked across fashion, brand building, and campaign production - leading creative direction for clients including Tommy Hilfiger, Magnum, and Philips, and shaping brand identities for labels and studios across fashion and culture.
I'm drawn to brands that have something real to say. My work connects strategy, visual identity, and storytelling, finding the language that makes a brand recognisable, consistent, and alive.
Photography is how I think. Ideas start as images long before they become concepts. Travel sharpens the way I look - slowing me down, bringing me closer to people, places, and their rhythms.
Alongside my client work, I write about visual culture and image-making on Substack, and mentor emerging creatives building their own practice.
Currently based in Amsterdam and open to senior creative roles.
